Omnify Hotspot 4.0

We're excited to announce the release of Omnify Hotspot 4.0. This update adds custom DHCP ranges and contains several other improvements. Please send your comments and suggestions to us, we like to read and use them!

Custom DHCP ranges

You can now customize the range of IP addresses assigned to devices that join your network. The IP address ranges you can choose from are 192.168.0.1 – 192.168.255.255, 172.16.0.1 – 172.31.255.255, and 10.0.0.1 – 10.255.255.255.

Installer

If you've already installed Omnify Hotspot and run the installer again, you'll now be asked if you want to open Omnify Hotspot.

Driver Fusion 9.3

We're delighted to announce the release of Driver Fusion 9.3. This release contains several improvements based on your feedback. Please send your comments and suggestions to us, we like to read and use them!

Health check

If you hide a device or driver, it's now hidden by category instead of all categories. In addition, pre-selected categories are now remembered when you restart Driver Fusion.

Performance

The overall performance has been significantly improved, such as reducing the time it takes to switch between features.

Driver download

Downloadable drivers now show their download size, which can be useful if you have a slow or metered connection.

Driver monitor

We've added and extended support for various devices, such as AMD Ryzen processors, Intel integrated graphic cards, Samsung NVMe drives, and several motherboards and fan sensors.

Driver cleaner

The cleanable drivers received new entries to be up-to-date with their latest versions.

The issues that you've reported have all been fixed.

Performance

You should see a significantly reduced latency for local traffic. The network throughput performance of low-end devices is also improved.

Treexy account

You no longer need to verify your email address if you used the same email address to order a license.

.NET

Starting with this release, you need to have at least .NET 6.0 installed. If you don't have it installed then our installer can automatically install it for you.

What else?

The network driver has been updated and the issues that you've reported have all been fixed.


Driver Fusion 9.2

We're excited to announce the release of Driver Fusion 9.2. This release adds support for Windows on ARM and contains several other improvements. Please send your comments and suggestions to us, we like to read and use them!

Windows on ARM

Driver Fusion now supports Windows 10 and 11 PCs that are powered by ARM and ARM64 processors.

Device control

You can now change the power options of devices that support power management, such as most network adapters and USB peripherals. The power options let you control whether a device can wake the computer from sleep, and whether the computer can turn off the device to save power. The driver sources in the backup and install dialogs are now also grouped together.

Driver monitor

We've added and extended support for various devices, such as Intel Alder and Jasper Lake processors, NVIDIA graphic cards, and several motherboards.

Driver cleaner

The cleanable drivers received new entries to be up-to-date with their latest versions.

Notifications

Omnify Hotspot now uses toast notifications if your PC is running Windows 10 version 1809 or later. When a toast notification is shown after a device connects or disconnects, you can use it to go directly to the device in the devices view.

Wi-Fi hotspot and repeater starting time

Starting a hotspot or repeater is now significantly faster on Windows 10 if your wireless network adapter still uses Hosted Network functionality.

We're excited to announce the release of Omnify Hotspot 3.0. This release adds bandwith control and several other improvements. Please send your comments and suggestions to us, we like to read and use them!

Bandwidth control

Within a network, the bandwidth is shared by all connected devices. If a device uses a lot of bandwidth, such as with torrents or other P2P software, it causes a negative impact on the performance of other devices. With bandwidth control, you can assign a download and upload speed limit for each device, to ensure that they have less interference with each other.

Performance

You should see a significantly reduced latency and CPU usage when there is a lot of traffic.

A new procedure has been added to ensure that more file system entries can be cleaned. The cleanable drivers also received new entries to be up-to-date with their latest versions.

Device monitor

We've extended support for various devices, such as AMD Ryzen processors, NVIDIA graphic cards, and several fan sensors.

Performance

The scrolling performance has been considerably improved for a smoother experience. Searching and filtering data is also noticeably faster.

Steam

You can now sign in more easily when running Driver Fusion under different user credentials as Steam.

QR code support

You can now scan a QR code in Omnify Hotspot with an Android or iPhone smartphone and join your created network without having to log in and type passwords.

Certificate

The installer and executable are now signed with a certificate to assist with Microsoft Defender SmartScreen.

We're excited to announce the release of Driver Fusion 8.2. This release contains several new features and improvements. Please send your comments and suggestions to us, we like to read and use them!

Health check

We've improved how driver update suggests drivers for your devices. This is especially noticeable for users who are still using AMD legacy GPUs.

History

You can now automatically delete operation and driver backups after a specified time period. This is disabled by default, but you can change it in advanced settings to anything up to a year. Driver backups of devices with only one backup are never deleted.

Device monitor

We've added and improved support for various devices, such as additional fan sensors for motherboards.

Driver cleaner

The cleanable drivers received new entries to be up-to-date with their latest versions.

What else?

Some advanced settings have been clarified and the issues that you've reported have all been fixed.
